We are seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at our Louisville, KY facility. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about driving efficiency, minimizing downtime, and leading a skilled team in a unionized manufacturing setting.
What You'll Do
As the Lead Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a team of union maintenance personnel to ensure smooth daily operations and minimal equipment downtime.
- Implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability.
- Supporting plant-wide initiatives in safety, quality, engineering, finance, HR, and production.
- Overseeing key performance metrics and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Maintaining employee records, including time tracking, performance documentation, and policy adherence.
- Collaborating with union representatives to resolve any workforce concerns.
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring team members have the tools and training needed to excel.
- Assisting in troubleshooting technical challenges related to machinery such as rolling mills, separators, annealing furnaces, spoolers, and other production equipment.
- Managing operational costs, including labor efficiency, overtime control, and supply management.

Must-Haves:
- 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role within a unionized manufacturing facility.
- Strong labor relations experience and the ability to work effectively with union representatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience managing maintenance metrics and reports.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- Certification in NFPA-70E for electrical work.
- Experience working with Milliken performance system
