I am collaborating with a rapidly expanding global pharmaceutical manufacturer who are currently on the lookout for an Associate Director of Logistics. They are searching for a focused and collaborative individual to oversee the global distribution of their products and provide centralised management for their network.
Responsibilities:
- Lead in the forefront of network evolution and drive ongoing enhancements to internal and external distribution procedures.
- Guide a Distribution Team, supervising end-to-end distribution operations.
- Nurture robust professional connections with European Logistics Service Providers
- Take ownership of and elevate relationships with LSPs to ensure efficient distribution processes with optimal cost-effectiveness.
- Act as a point of escalation for operational challenges and discrepancies.
- Advance operational excellence by optimising distribution work flows from warehousing to customer fulfilment, returns, and beyond.
- Collaborate with internal departments and regional sales teams, fortifying physical supply chain aspects involving processes, compliance, and security.
- Promote seamless collaboration across all business functions, fostering open, transparent, and respectful teamwork.
- Ensure adherence to quality mandates and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Possess 7-10 years of experience in logistics management.
- Experience in Third Party Provider logistics on the customer and/or client side.
- Demonstrate profound familiarity with European and global pharmaceutical distribution regulation.
- Show understanding of the Logistics Services market in Europe.
- Exhibit robust project management capabilities and change-driving skills.
- Display experience with supply chain technology, including SAP.
- Present documented accomplishments in overseeing distribution from multiple origins to multiple destinations.
- Illustrate the ability to optimise expenses while upholding high performance standards.
- Showcase excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation proficiencies.
