DSJ Global is partnered with a top manufacturing company to hire a Maintenance Manager in the Knoxville, TN area.
This role leads the development of a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) environment and oversees the plant's Equipment Reliability and Facilities Department. Responsibilities include managing maintenance technicians, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and driving equipment reliability to achieve operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop maintenance staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
- Maintenance Programs: Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize uptime and production efficiency.
- Facilities Oversight: Ensure optimal performance of critical systems (e.g., electrical, HVAC, plumbing) while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.
- Project Management: Lead capital projects and vendor coordination, ensuring timely and compliant execution.
- TPM Support: Drive TPM initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and implement tools like 5S, visual factory, and spare parts management.
- Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze equipment performance to identify improvements and ensure reliability.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to cGMP, OSHA, and other regulatory standards while maintaining a safe work environment.
- Budgeting: Support the development and management of departmental budgets and cost controls.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences and 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience; or equivalent education/experience.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CMMS and TPM/Lean methodologies.
- Knowledge of OSHA/ADA/NFPA/DOT standards; cGMP experience preferred.
- Project management and CMRP certification are a plus.
