Title: Materials Planner
Location: Thurmont, MD
Work Model: Onsite
We're hiring a materials planner to join our Thurmont team. The ideal candidate has at least two years of purchasing experience, inventory management knowledge, and planning and forecasting skills. Construction experience is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Determine optimal ordering and inventory balances considering various factors.
- Efficiently order materials, emphasizing quality and timeliness.
- Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and manage disruptions.
- Act as a subject matter expert on material status and cost.
- Coordinate vendor feedback and improve inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree preferred
- Two years' purchasing experience
- Proficient in supply chain principles
- Ability to analyze market demands
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
