Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Global Sourcing Strategies: Formulate and implement effective sourcing strategies for MRO products and services across global markets.
- Market Analysis & Supplier Evaluation: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify potential suppliers, assessing their capabilities, performance, and alignment with company needs.
- Negotiate Contracts & Pricing: Lead negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms, ensuring cost-effective procurement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, and other relevant departments to understand sourcing needs and technical specifications.
- Supplier Performance Management: Monitor and assess supplier performance, ensuring quality standards are met and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Procurement Process Management: Oversee the full procurement lifecycle, including purchase orders, inventory levels, and supplier relationships, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Data Analysis & Process Improvement: Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement.
- Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all sourcing activities adhere to company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Continuously monitor developments in the power generation sector, emerging technologies, and supply chain dynamics to keep the organization ahead of the curve.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sourcing or procurement, with a focus on MRO in the power generation industry.
- Skills & Expertise:
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to MRO procurement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) are a plus.
- Experience managing global supply chains and international sourcing.
