The Process Engineer will be responsible for:
Developing and maintaining an effective technical team responsible for Hot Dip Galvanizing (HDG) technology and development
Leads major improvement projects; improving process and product capabilities, throughput, cost, energy, and environmental performance
Provide technical support for all HDG units, reporting HDG process performance to Senior management, and managing/improving statistical systems that define product/process capabilities
Developing/improving inspection and testing methods, driving functionality and performance of process models/control systems
Fulfilling commitment to safe/healthy work environment with strong commitment to quality

The Process Engineer should have:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Background in major steel mill processes and products with in depth knowledge of HDG processes and technology
Knowledge of metal coated steel strip properties and applications
Understanding of heat and mass transfer, combustion, chemical reactions, and equilibrium (chemistry and chemical engineering fundamentals), metallurgy of steels, etc.
