Process Engineer

A leading chemical manufacturer is looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join the team. This role involves working cross-functionally to optimize plant processes, aiming to maximize throughput and enhance product quality. This individual will provide process engineering support, such as process design, project management, improvement, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety and compliance
- Promote a safety-oriented culture
- Monitor and enhance continuous and batch chemical processes
- Report process and equipment issues, including night and weekend monitoring
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of all processes and equipment
- Create a training manual for all plant processes
- Collaborate with external contractors to update all process P&IDs
- Improve quality and productivity to reduce costs
- Execute PSSRs, MOCs, and PHAs as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of chemical processing equipment, plant processes, environmental guidelines, and relevant employment laws
