The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily production and operations . The ideal candidate takes a proactive approach, working closely with the Plant Manager, Plant Coordinator, and other key members of the Operations team to meet all customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all safety, productivity, and quality targets are met.
- Effectively plan and organize work objectives, set goals and priorities, and define roles and responsibilities for team members.
- Manage and submit timekeeping details, approve overtime, make payroll adjustments, and address any other compensation-related matters for team members.
- Collaborate with other team members to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with OSHA standards and internal safety best practices.
- Operate manufacturing machinery as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience supervising a team of 20+ employees.
- 3+ years of experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with lean manufacturing practices or 5S training.
