Role and Responsibilities:
- Quality Analysis: Develop and apply qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to ensure quality products.
- Department Liaison: Establish effective communication with all departments regarding quality issues, program priorities, process audits, and other significant information.
- Supervision: Oversee the Receiving and Final Inspection Department, enhancing staff quality through proper selection, training, motivation, and guidance.
- Vendor and Customer Relations: Manage quality control interactions with vendors and customers' representatives.
- Product Quality: Ensure the overall quality of products shipped from the plant.
- Leadership in Quality Activities: Lead internal audits, corrective actions, non-conforming material reviews, customer quality resolutions, calibration processes, ESD programs, and product quality planning.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with FDA, ITAR, and other relevant regulations.
- SPC Data Collection: Implement and maintain Statistical Process Control data collection.
Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Supervisory Experience: Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Quality Experience: At least five years of experience in quality-related roles within electronic assembly.
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Experience with electronic manufacturing processes.
- ISO Standards: Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
- Lean Manufacturing: Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
- Contract Manufacturing: Experience in contract manufacturing is a plus.
