Position: Senior Marketing Coordinator
We are looking for a well-organized, energetic, detail-oriented, and collaborative Senior Marketing Coordinator. This role reports directly to the Marketing and Business Development (BD) Manager and works closely with technical staff across all geographic and practice areas of the company. The Senior Marketing Coordinator will be crucial in achieving the company's strategic growth goals through proposal development, branding, and marketing strategy implementation.
Responsibilities:
Proposal Development:
- Coordinate and prepare high-quality proposals and qualification packages to secure new contracts and projects.
- Maintain an internal library of updated project descriptions, resumes, and other materials for proposals.
- Ensure clear communication for a collaborative, efficient, accurate, and timely proposal development process among all stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects, proposals, and quick-turn requests to meet all proposal deadlines.
Brand Management:
- Manage and optimize the company brand and online presence through digital marketing and content creation, including the company website and LinkedIn.
- Support technical teams with tracking and registering employees for upcoming conferences, abstract submissions, and other networking opportunities.
- Assist the Human Resources (HR) department and technical teams in developing marketing materials for career fairs, conferences, and corporate events.
- Maintain internal branding and templates to ensure consistency, accuracy, and excellence in the company's deliverables.
- Support the HR department in maintaining the company's culture through employee events, polls, outreach, charity donations, and other intra-company communication (e.g., Intranet).
Customer Relations:
- Plan and coordinate industry events, conferences, webinars, and other networking opportunities to increase company visibility and strengthen client relationships.
- Build and maintain the Client Relationship Management (CRM) software with timely, relevant, and accurate data to ensure proactive client engagement and evaluation of valuable performance metrics.
Business Development:
- Support efforts to identify new business opportunities in emerging markets and through new and existing client expansion and engagement.
Internal Operations:
- Assist the Marketing and BD Manager in collecting and evaluating marketing/BD performance metrics.
- Provide timely, concise, and accurate marketing data and reports to the Chief Operating Officer and technical staff to demonstrate marketing/BD strategy efficacy.
- Help develop annual marketing plans and associated budgets for the marketing/BD department and practice areas.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and business development.
- MUST HAVE experience in the environmental, engineering, or water resources fields
- MUST HAVE experience with Deltek VantagePoint CRM
- MUST HAVE full cycle RFP/RFQ experience
- Proven track record of successful marketing campaign coordination, brand awareness, lead generation, and proposal development.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, WordPress, SharePoint, and Adobe Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign).
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
