Job Title: Senior Procurement Agent 4

Overview:
As a Senior Procurement Agent you will play a crucial role in supporting our expanding business operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a key liaison between the Procurement team and internal stakeholders, including the Executive Team, Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing.
- Collaborating with core Program/Project teams to manage high-visibility and high-value programs, ensuring timely and efficient execution of project portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will encompass:
Procurement Planning During Bidding Phase:
- Understanding contract specifications and bills of material.
- Sourcing, identifying, and prequalifying vendors.
- Developing comprehensive RFPs.
- Analyzing multiple quotes and creating a Vendor Matrix.
- Working with project and engineering teams to confirm the completeness of the scope of service and supply.
- Negotiating and finalizing agreements.
- Developing and managing the Procurement Plan post-award.
Post-Award Procurement Planning and Implementation:
- Transferring bid phase documents and knowledge to the project team.
- Engaging with the project team on procurement planning and implementation.
- Capturing and communicating market intelligence across projects and programs.
Market Condition Analysis:
- Evaluating and incorporating current market conditions into procurement plans, including pricing trends, lead times, logistical requirements, best value opportunities, and alternative products.
Contract and Document Interpretation:
- Reading, understanding, and interpreting contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
Travel Requirements:
- Traveling to project sites, manufacturers, and vendors as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree plus 9 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Relevant purchasing experience, including sourcing and negotiating contracts with OEMs, construction/specialty trade subcontractors, and fabricators.
- FAR/DFAR Regulatory Knowledge
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting principles.
