Procurement Manager
Location: Villingen-Schwenningen and near Lake Constance, Germany

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team at a renowned manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective sourcing, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. This role requires fluency in German and English and involves working 3 days per week on-site between Villingen-Schwenningen and near Lake Constance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support manufacturing operations.
- Source and manage suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless procurement processes.
- Monitor and report on procurement activities and supplier performance.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in direct or indirect procurement within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, contract negotiations, and process optimization.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Ability to be present in the office 3 days per week between Villingen-Schwenningen and near Lake Constance.
- Understanding of sourcing and working culture in the South Baden-Wรผrttemberg area.
- Excellent internal stakeholder management skills.
