My client is seeking a dedicated Site Procurement Manager to partner with our local site teams, providing both tactical leadership and strategic alignment across various dimensions of procurement delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Strategy Implementation: Develop plans that enhance performance at all levels within the organization.
- Procurement Management Excellence: Lead supply base development to meet multifaceted requirements including quality assurance, regulatory compliance, service standards while controlling costs efficiently.
- Risk Mitigation Mastery: Embed risk management into core practices ensuring robustness against potential disruptions from suppliers or market changes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) preferably in fields related to Procurement such as Supply Chain Management or Finance
- 5+ years operational experience spanning multiple spend categories
Required Skills:
Indirect & Direct Sourcing: Expertise in navigating indirect sourcing activities like facilities sourcing (HVAC, snow removal, PPE, etc.) along with direct material acquisitions
Strategic Planning & Execution: Ability not only devise but also implement strategies adhering strictly to corporate SOPs will be pivotal for this role's success.
Supplier Relationship Models Understanding: A deep comprehension of external environments coupled with supplier relationship models forms the foundation towards managing partnerships effectively.
