A leader in the Hospitality industry is looking to add a Sr. Manager, Strategic Sourcing with a strong focus on food and beverage categories to their growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the procurement of high-quality products at competitive prices. This role requires a strategic thinker who is highly analytical and has excellent negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Sourcing Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for OS&E categories with a focus on food and beverage, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure the highest quality products and services. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze market trends and pricing to negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all sourced products meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any issues and implement corrective actions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and marketing, to understand their needs and ensure alignment with sourcing strategies.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation plans to ensure continuity of supply.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor sourcing performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sourcing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, with a focus on food and beverage categories.
