Position Title: Senior Manager, Operational Excellence
Overview: This role is dedicated to fostering a culture of operational and customer excellence, implementing change, and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) through the company's excellence program. The position ensures compliance with quality systems, policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Deployment: Align strategic goals through cascading Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support leadership in creating improvement goals and master plans.
- Collaboration: Work with plant leadership and business unit managers to implement the excellence and cost-saving plans.
- Coaching: Mentor leadership teams on excellence practices, focusing on benchmarking and developing a zero-loss mindset.
- Capability Development: Enhance safety, quality, and reliability through component teams.
- Coordination: Drive excellence capability development and achieve long-term CI objectives.
- Teaching: Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, demonstrating proficiency in excellence concepts.
- Focused Improvement: Lead improvement teams to deliver cost-saving projects and optimize the site loss landscape.
- Travel: Flexible and able to travel up to 25%.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant field.
- Experience: At least seven years of manufacturing/leadership experience in a plant and three years of operating a production system.
- Skills: Advanced communication and presentation skills, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to influence without authority.
