Job Title: New Market Manager / Technical Sales Lead

Job Summary:
A rapidly growing leader in industrial food processing and climate control solutions, servicing leading food manufacturers, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced technical sales expert to launch a new product to market! This role requires an individual who is well-versed in selling into the food & beverage industry with existing relationships with key decision-makers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales success, leveraging these relationships, and utilizing their technical knowledge to meet customer needs effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Oversee and manage a portfolio of assigned customer accounts, ensuring all service levels are met (quoting, technical support, order tracking, product training, etc.).
- New Business Development: Identify and strategically pursue new business opportunities within the food manufacturing sector, with a focus on project-based sales.
- Sales Funnel & Opportunity Management: Contribute to the sales funnel, reviewing opportunities with the team to develop winning strategies.
- Key Account Management: Enhance and implement existing Key Account Management processes to drive engagement with key decision-makers and influencers within customer organizations.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with senior executives (C-Suite) and key decision-makers to foster brand preference and accelerate product adoption.
- Product Promotion & Innovation: Support the introduction of new products/services to the market, aligning marketing efforts to facilitate rapid adoption within target customer segments.
- Customer Feedback & Strategy Support: Provide valuable insights and reporting on sector performance, including dynamics that may influence customer decisions and market strategy.
KPIs/Performance Metrics:
- Bookings: Achieving sales targets for assigned customers and products.
- Lead Generation: Growing and managing a qualified sales funnel, tracking lead quantity and value.
- Engagements: Measuring the number and quality of engagements with decision-makers and key influencers.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- 7+ years of sales experience within the food & beverage industry, specifically engaging with decision-makers in manufacturing.
- A strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex solutions to customers.
Travel Requirements: Approximately 50% travel expected.
