Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Branch Manager who will be responsible for leading the growth and operations our clients Hanover branch. This individual will have P&L responsibility, oversee day-to-day freight operations, and drive business development through a strong commercial focus. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the local market, along with extensive experience in air freight and ocean freight operations. Proven leadership abilities are essential for fostering team growth, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering sustained business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Branch Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse team to ensure high levels of performance, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
- Commercial Development: Drive business growth by developing and executing strategies that capture new business, strengthen customer relationships, and increase market share in the Hanover region.

- Freight Operations Management: Oversee all air freight and ocean freight operations, ensuring optimal service delivery while maintaining cost efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements:
- Strong Commercial Ethos: Demonstrated success in business development, sales, and generating revenue in a freight forwarding environment.
- Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of air freight and ocean freight, including an understanding of customs regulations, global supply chain logistics, and freight pricing structures.
- P&L Responsibility: Solid experience managing P&L accounts, focusing on driving profitability while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record in leading and developing teams, with excellent communication and people management skills.
- Local Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Hanover logistics market, with the ability to identify trends and adapt strategies to the local business environment.
