Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Category Manager for HR & Corporate Services to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of HR and corporate services, ensuring cost-effective and efficient sourcing strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategies for HR and corporate services, including recruitment, training, employee benefits, legal services, and office supplies.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the HR and corporate services categories.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, ensuring alignment with procurement strategies.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and achieve cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present reports on category performance, savings, and other key metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on HR and corporate services categories.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry is a plus.
