Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

A Cosmetics/Personal Care Products client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with a high level of technical expertise and a passion for building. You will play a critical role in creating and refining processes to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and productivity.
The client is a world-class leader in the development and production of high-quality color cosmetics, skin care, hair care, bath & body care, and OTC products. They are an outsourcing partner to major global brands across all distribution channels, from high-end to mass market.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing specifications.
- Identify and recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate production processes and evaluate potential changes.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work directly with filling, capping, and assembly machinery.
- Preferred experience in cosmetics, skincare, or food industries.
- Experience with IQ/OQ/PQ validation and regulatory compliance (GMP, FDA, ISO).
- Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting, machine setup, and process optimization.
- Ability to work directly on production lines, diagnose equipment issues, and make real-time adjustments.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of engineering experience.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5S methodologies.
