Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of assigned shifts, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, and team development.
- Oversee packaging processes (bottling, canning, kegging) to ensure timely and in-specification production.
- Supervise hourly staff and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Lead process improvement initiatives for assigned areas.
Key Tasks:
- Direct Operators to maintain quality through proper procedures.
- Perform Operator tasks as needed.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and succession planning.
- Conduct employee evaluations and pre-shift meetings.
- Ensure compliance with continuous improvement activities (Lean, Kaizen, TPM).
- Monitor production plans and address issues related to process loss and equipment efficiency.
- Report and investigate incidents and injuries.
- Ensure accurate payroll reporting.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of leadership and supervisory experience.
- 2+ years in manufacturing/CPG or engineering.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and process improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical exam.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Ability to wear PPE and work in various physical positions.
- Experience in the beverage industry.
- 2+ years in a process engineer role.
