Job Overview:
The Pipe Welder is responsible for performing welding and fitting on stainless and carbon steel pipes. This includes troubleshooting and repairing process piping and equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weld stainless and carbon steel pipes, following work orders, flow sheets, blueprint drawings, vendor specs, and/or P&ID's.
- Perform welding techniques including TIG, MIG, and stick welding.
- Carry out brazing, soldering, and repair/replacement of stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, copper, and other metals.
- Use hand, power, and shop tools proficiently.
- Assist with process equipment assembly and installation.
- Troubleshoot and solve equipment issues.
- Install pipe fittings, rigging, and other equipment as necessary.
- Lubricate equipment as directed.
- Complete data entry into the work order system.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in TIG, MIG, and stick welding.
- Experience with pipe fitting, rigging, and equipment installation.
- Ability to interpret work orders, blueprints, and P&ID's.
- Equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and copper.
Testing Requirements (as part of the interview process):
- 2" Carbon Steel TIG root, TIG cover
- 6" Schedule 40, TIG root, stick cover (7018)
- 2" Stainless Steel, TIG root, TIG cover

Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
