We are currently representing a client seeking a Procurement Contracts Manager to join their team in MA. This full-time role will focus on overseeing procurement contracts and ensuring compliance across construction and renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead internal procurement contract reviews, ensuring all legal approvals and reviews are obtained.
- Develop and implement systems to preserve lien rights and ensure timely execution in procurement processes.
- Provide consultation and guidance on procurement contracts, including terms and conditions related to construction and renewable energy projects.
- Serve as the key point of contact between procurement teams and legal for contract negotiations and reviews.
- Monitor aging receivables to support the execution of lien rights in procurement processes.
- Collaborate with the estimating, preconstruction, and operations teams to ensure a smooth and effective contract handoff.
- Ensure all procurement contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct research, audits, risk analysis, and contract modifications as needed for procurement purposes.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in reviewing and managing public and private procurement contracts, with a deep understanding of construction and renewable energy procurement contracts.
- Solid understanding of project management principles as they relate to procurement and contract administration.
- Familiarity with business, financial, and management principles in a procurement context.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines while guiding teams to achieve division goals.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to anticipate and address the needs of internal stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Strong understanding of contracting concepts, procurement law, and regulations.
