Quality Engineer
Position Overview: The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our manufacturing processes. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry, lean manufacturing principles, and ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
- Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Identify and implement lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality processes into all stages of product development and manufacturing.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and conduct training programs on quality standards and best practices for staff.
- Assist in the preparation for and participation in external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality engineering within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and quality auditing practices.
- Proven experience with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus.
