Senior Category Manager Plastics
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Create and manage global strategies for categories, working with suppliers and understanding markets.
- Guide and support team members, ensuring they meet business goals with clear priorities.
- Choose suppliers for new products and work with different departments to set specifications.
- Build strong supplier relationships and solve procurement issues, promoting continuous improvement.
- Perform special operational tasks as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Accounting, or similar; MBA preferred.
Experience
- 8-10 years in procurement and operations, with business, technical, and managerial roles.
- Proven experience in establishing strategic sourcing strategies
- *must have plastics sourcing experience to be considered
Skills
- Proficient in software like SAP, Power BI, and Ariba.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Motivated team player who works well with others.
- Able to interact diplomatically and assertively.
