We are looking for a Site Manager to oversee all production and plant operations at a 90,000 square foot manufacturign facility. Key responsibilities include managing production, financials, EH&S, and regulatory compliance. The goal is to meet targets and deliver on the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), ensuring customer satisfaction and high product quality while maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety: Lead a safety-first culture, prioritize safety and housekeeping programs, and manage the site OSHA safety program.
- Leadership: Inspire and motivate the workforce, handle employee relations, and drive continuous improvement.
- Talent Development: Focus on hiring and developing talent, support HR initiatives, and foster positive employee relations.
- Customer Focus: Ensure products meet specifications, provide technical support, address customer complaints, and maintain ISO certification.
- Efficiency: Plan and control production, coordinate with other departments, develop metrics to improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement.
- General: Implement policies and procedures, maintain effective communication within the site and with external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Chemical Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in supervision, employee relations, management, and operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong metrics-driven approach with experience in performance-based metrics.
- Financial/P&L analysis skills and bottom-line orientation.
- Knowledge of automated production environments.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in conflict resolution, coaching, and team development.
