VP of Regional Sales

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
As the Vice President of Regional Sales, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing our sales operations within a high growth food production organization. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of sales professionals, driving revenue growth and profitability, and managing relationships with key customer accounts. Reporting into the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be instrumental in expanding our market presence, fostering strong partnerships with key stakeholders, and driving the success of our regional sales initiatives. With a strategic focus on managing sales volume, revenue, and profitability, you will directly contribute to our company's overall success and market leadership.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead and inspire regional sales teams, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic vision and goals.
- Drive significant sales growth by building strong relationships with key accounts in the Food and Beverage industry.
- Identify and develop new revenue opportunities through innovative product offerings and market expansion.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for business expansion and improvement.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and enhance sales performance.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Navigate and manage change effectively, balancing ongoing business operations with new initiatives.
- Optimize commercial processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Promote a culture of high performance, inclusivity, and diversity within the sales team.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field; MBA preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in sales roles within the Food and Beverage industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing both individual contributors and senior team members who oversee their own sub-teams, showcasing strong leadership in managing managers.
- Expertise in the Food and Beverage market, with a good understanding of market dynamics.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, business acumen, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to drive informed decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience managing large sales volumes and driving revenue growth.
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
